A learnership is a work-based learning programme that leads to an NQF registered qualification and is managed by SETAs. Learnerships are directly related to an occupation or field of work, for example, electrical engineering, hairdressing or project management.
At Afri Training Institute we aim to bridge the gap between education and the workplace by offering opportunities to get the relevant training and experience.
Learnerships are created specifically to facilitate the linkage between structured learning and work experience in order to obtain a registered qualification. A combination of theory and workplace practice makes up each qualification which is registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
