Skills Development and Employment Equity Committee Training

Target Market:

Purpose

This training empowers delegates to:

1. Demonstrate understanding of the Employment Equity Act, including the 2022 amendments.
2. Participate in the development of relevant equity related plans and policies.
3. Communicate equity related plans and policies to stakeholders.
4. Participate in the implementation of agreed equity related plans and policies.
5. Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of equity related plans and policies.
6. Consult on the development of a Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Plan (ATR).
7. Monitor the progress of skills development in the business.
8. Verify the training reports prepared by the Skills Development Facilitator

Harassment in the Workplace and Skills Development Act
• Understanding what Employment Equity and Skills Development in practice and essential
related issues
